CANCER CHARITY BENEFITS FROM SPILLARD PROMOTION

Spillard Safety Systems of Gailey in Staffordshire was delighted to recently present a cheque for £625.00 to the Hydrex Cancer Research fund raising appeal, much of which was raised during this year’s Hillhead exhibition where the company requested a donation of £1 for every metre safety stick given away during the course of the three day event.

The sticks, normally given away free at exhibitions by Spillard, are designed to be used to identify driver blind spots from the cabs of all types of mobile plant used in both the construction and quarrying industries in order to arrive at the best possible combination of mirrors and rear-view cameras to ensure maximum on-site safety.

Commenting on the donation, managing director Pete Spillard said:” We have given away over 10,000 of the rulers free of charge, Hillhead gave us the opportunity to provide this service whilst raising money for this worthwhile cause and would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who made donation at Hillhead.
