Job description

  • Be first to take incoming phone calls and pass to relevant colleagues as necessary
  • To take customer enquiries by telephone and e-mail and quote against accordingly
  • To take and process sales orders using Sage Line 50 (supply only and fitting)
  • To raise stores picking notes
  • To allocate stock to picked orders
  • To raise delivery notes
  • To book daily courier collections on the internet (currently APC Overnight)
  • To book installation work into engineer diary using Job Watch
  • To manage back orders
  • To manage orders requiring future delivery dates
  • To invoice despatched orders
  • To email invoices to customers
  • To process customer payments by credit card via the internet
  • To open and distribute incoming post
  • Filing​

Experience essential in use of:

  • Sage Line 50
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Word

Skills required:

  • Computer literate
  • Attention to detail
  • Being able to multi-task and prioritise
  • Keen leaner
  • Excellent customer service
